THIS SCENE. Blaine learning about Kurt’s temper, calling Kurt out on his faults. Kurt is realizing Blaine doesn’t actually belong on a pedestal. Both of them are terrified to lose each other and what they each mean to the other. Blaine just wants a real, true friend. Kurt needs validation in being himself. Blaine was honestly HURT by Kurt - meaning that Kurt’s opinion means something to him, that he is emotionally vulnerable to Kurt. Kurt admitted that he looks up to Blaine. And the best part: Perfect Blaine got angry and Kurt fought back hard. If that’s not evening the playing field, making them equals, I don’t know what is. I LOVED THIS FIGHT. YOU CAN’T CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE.
